help with new skill token

its simple at first, just get less than 50 perfects and finish the song

but um... its alot harder than ive thought
ive tried dark, cutting the screen at the top, placing paper over the top arrows, almost everything pretty much

any tricks to really screw up my pa?

How about TRYING to get a good, and then missing 5-6 arrows..
Repeat first step.

go off about 0.25-0.5 secs off and have a steady beat. youll get goods/avgs all day.

I cant get goods very well, after months of TRYING to get perfects TRYING to get goods just...doesn't feel right.

rel- you cant really do that =/ you can try to get all goods on the up arrow repeat and the left right trill, then miss alot through the rest of the song

but that wont really work, cause if you miss 5-6, you'll just die

do you think i should screencut from the top and use dark?
or maybe use spin or something?


edit- i think what dashoe said plus turning the volume off and dark could do it

I don't exactly see what you mean there... Go OFF? Do you like lag or something to get the arrows off-beat with the music or do you mean to just go at my own separate pace off-beat with the music? I have been having trouble getting this skill token as well...

i just need to find the right spot, but if you lower the top of the screen where when the tip of the arrow touches it and you get an average, then its good
and screencut the bottom too

but the main part im haveing trouble with is knowing how much life i have left
maybe i should cover parts of the screen with other windows... lol

edit- so sick, you go off, cause you dont WANT perfects, but if you can have good average attack, then you need to be off a little, so be a little early

YEA I DID IT! lol
i found the best trick is to have about this much of the bottom of the 4 arrows

| <-- like a little less

then hit the arrows as they pass under the screen
cause youre screencutting downward

i found that helps

blah i can get about 350 arrows in and then i fail out.
i'm about 100 arrows away. blah.
this is difficult, i like it.

Dark and reverse scroll plus screencut arrows and spin with volume off.

I got it while not listening to the song. If you don't have the beat driving in your head you have a better chance for goods.

Turning your speakers off works best. Keeping an even beat going with fingers is the most important thing, just like when you are trying to AAA a song. Try to hit averages more then goods, that way you are less likely to accidentally hit a perfect. Better to miss an arrow altogether then hit a perfect being off on the goods. lol Sounds strange to be saying that.

Edit: Also, if you notice your meter getting extremely low hit a few perfects and goods to bring it back up. Hitting averages will not bring it back up.
