hey i heard something about a way to make ur screen on ur computer stretch so u can actually see the steps that r close together... im looking for the details as to how to do that so if anyone could help it would be deeply appreciated.

You can try decreasing your screen resolution so the arrows are bigger. -

if you use IE (hopefully not) you can increase the percentage of the page making the arrows bigger and the spaces between them bigger.Originally posted by Jem

i need it cause i cant get use to how close the arrows get in this game... i normally play stepmania from 600-800 BPM so its hard for me to get used to the speed and how close together some of the steps are... o yeah... i also used to watch soultaker... thats how i got my name.Comment

I believe the real solution to your problem would be to screenshrink, so there are much fewer notes on the screen at once, so it's a lot easier ot read. If you must know how to zoom in and out, try holding ctrl une using the scrolly thing on your mouse. I'm pretty sure that doesn't chance the gameplay area, though, which you'd need to change your computer's resolution to do.

computer resolution u say? hmmm... well there was someone i was talking with on the multiplayer who said that screen stretch would help with that problem so to extend the space between the arrows like that but u say that changing the resolution is a way to do it? i dont think i have that option cause i have to go to a library to even play this game... i dont have internet at home.Comment

You just right click on the desktop, go to settings, then appearance, and change the screen's revolution. If you do it at the library or something, people might not like it, but you could probably get away with it if you changed it back afterwards.
I assure you the real way for you to do better is to screencut though. Unmaximize the window, then shrink it down so you only about half of the screen, so you only see notes closer to when you need to hit them, and there shouldn't be nearly as many on the screen at once that way, so it's a lot easier.Comment

uh yeah... cant right click the desk top cause its a library... they disable any settings change or .exe programs so they cant get viruses or wont have any problems.Comment
