    Keyboards Really Matter

    I kinda suck at FFR.

For the longest time I knew that I played better at school because my keyboard at home was horrible. It doesn't register three or more key presses at the same time (or in rapid succession, as I realized).

Anyway, I just got this old gateway keyboard (similar to the one arch auctioned off a while back), and now I can FC songs with jumpstreams.

So now I know that I can get a lot better, but I still think I'm going to be held back a little bit, because AMD processors act as an interpreter for flash, and sometimes it lags.

What kind of keyboard do you have?

    (Also, 1bil club woot)

    An adequete one.

It reconizes all four arrows being pressed at once, so that's a plus for Resonance.
    Note to self Finish.

I've noticed that most old keyboards aren't only able to register 3+ keys, but are more pressure-sensitive.......

yep. keybaords definately matter. my parents are divorced so I have two houses. when I go to my mom's house, I can't play ffr good because the keys are not sensitive enough, but at my dad's, I play good because the keys are sensitive. my best advice is literally to get a new one that is more sensitive.

A keyboard with thicker keys are better, IMO. A flat, thin key like those found on laptops are harder to play on.

Yeah, I can't stand those. I play on some Logitech keyboard. Wired of course.

All you need is a keyboard with solid keys that can register fast repitition (jacks) and multiple keys hit at once (hands, fast rolls, quads)

I have this wired logitech keyboard... I'd prefer not to play on wireless because it lags behind that split second that will make all the difference (at least on all of the wireless keyboards I've tried so far)

yeah on resonance i cant hit 3 at the same time.. so if there is a hold on say 2 keys, i cant push a button while im holding them
