So a jackass comes in here and bumps a bunch of the oldest threads he can find.
What do y'all do?
Do you immediately report the threads and leave them so that the mods can take care of them?
NO!
You make "IBL" posts and don't alert the moderators, letting posts rack up on ancient threads!
"In before lock" isn't funny. In fact, it used to be against the rules and, as far as I'm concerned, should be. We have a report function for a reason, so use it.
What I like to do with megabumps is to delete the offending posts so that the thread can go to rest where it belongs in the timeline. Y'all are just making things MORE difficult by posting where you shouldn't be posting in the first place.
Our rules thread says that you should immediately report any offending threads and let the mods take the necessary actions. Nowhere does it say to continue posting. I can only conclude from your actions that those in question haven't read our rules.
I'm not singling people out, here, but you know who you are, and I know who you are.
Get it. Got it? Good.
