My first Simfile

Yep, I've finally decided to make a simfile. I just E-mailed Peter Geisheker, an artist who goes by Positively Dark. I read the SM create and share tutorial, and the FFR sim making thread and I think I can basically do it. I'm not exactly sure who to submit it to after I finish, but please tell me if you know. If it gets rejected, I won't get sad because it is my first simfile, and I'll just add it to the simfile database. If you have any information, or tips then please tell me. Btw this is his website:

I'll tell you when/if I get permission and when I'm done making the steps. Btw I'm probobly going to step "Burn".

I think this is the right section considering I'll submit it into FFR. If not then please move it.

Shouldn't this go in the simfile section? <.< Anyways, have fun with your simfile; I've recently got pretty into making them too.

Send it to tass at [email protected] but I seriously reccomend you put it in the Simfile database and get advice from others instead of sending it to Tass. I'm 99% positive it won't get accepted.

No offense, but you need SOME level of experience before your files get accepted.

My RB accoun is a lvl 13. I dunno, can you send it to the simfile DB then later send it to Tass? I would work really hard on it and make sure it is at least decent.

I can FC Thinking Different... and I can get a 1,000 combo on Sensorium.

If it is publically available (i.e. on the simfile DB) it is ineligable for the game.

There are only a handful of incredibly old FFR files that are publically available.

If you're inferring that'd be reason for your files to be good, you're wrong.

Playing the games and making the games are completely different. You can pick up a lot of things from playing, but there are very important things you can only learn through repeated experience in making the files.

I don't know, do what you want, I don't want to discourage you.

I shall resume it with a few words:

PRACTICE.
REPETITION.
PRACTICE.

The case is, you gotta be sure everything is how ya want it, and test it as many times as ya need to before submitting, being spriter, animator, and musician myself it is obvious to know how it feels to make something and post then seeing there was an error.

I hope your works are decent though.

I'll work really hard on it, and if I don't think it's good enough I'll put it in the Simfile DB. But eventually I do want to make an FFR simfile.

I'm gonna go see if there are any sims from his music.

Edit: nope there aren't. At least it will introduce a new artist. Oh and btw vet. simfile makers should check out his songs, but I got dibs on Burn XP. If you make any files for SM of him please tell me.
