    Spread.

Also, you've already made a thread about this.

what exactly is spread? is that left middle on left arrow, left index on top arrow, right index on 8, right middle on 6?

i've been trying that out for a while and starting to get used to it.

edit, nvm. i just read http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...ad.php?t=59970

That's pseudo-spread. You can use this guide to help set up a more ergonomic spread setup.

I've never seen another thread like this one EVER lol. nah, but spread is definitely the style with the most potential. compare to index with pros/cons:

          pros of spread:
          -speed
-never having to move your fingers from the arrows they occupy
-ability to hit up to 4 arrows at a time
-ability to hit any awkward rhythm that would pose a threat to indexers (examples - Nova Pulser, Carrousel Paradise)
-ability to do fast rolls accurately on songs like Torinouta/Coat Czech
-feels more like playing piano =P
side note: most top players use spread

          cons:
-one handed trills will be used at times and are difficult
-running men are much harder than doing the same patterns on index, unless you practice them

ah yeah i was just lookin at that thread wickedawesome, helpful stuff.

and yes ledwix, it is so hard for me to do runningmans right now. i'm originally an indexer. but with spread my PA is so much better, i just gotta play more i guess.

I tried spread, but it's so damn confusing! I've been playing index for roughly one year and I can FC songs like CIA Rave. It's jump stream that ****s me up.
