    Arrow Colours

    While reading today's new songs of the week notice I noticed it Purple/Pinkish arrows are 12th's and 24th's arrows.
    I'm quite certain that I have a grasp on what that means, but I do not know what all of the other arrow colours stand for and I'd like to know that.

    Can anyone please help? ^^

    By the way, I ran a search and the best I came up with was this:
    http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...t=arrow+colors

    But I want a more comprehensive list.

    From what I gather,
    All blue = Very old song, preserved.
    Blue/Red = Old song, preserved.
    Red = Quarter note.
    Purple = 12th note.
    Pinkish = 24th note.

    Could someone please help make that more comprehensive?

    Re: Arrow Colours

    Red= 4th
    Blue=8th
    Purple=12th
    Yellow=16th
    Pink=24th
    Orange=32nd
    Cyan=48th
    Green=64th

    Whole list.

    The songs with all blue are the old songs, you're right about that. Those arrows aren't all 8ths of course. All songs that aren't all blue were added in after noteskins were put in.

        Thanks for the quick replies guys. ^^ I appreciate it.
        By the way, where can I encounter one of these white arrows? Not a song that has me delve well into the 2000'th arrow to see one please. ._.

          There are none, and hopefully there never will be, since it probably wouldn't get accepted into the game. You can't even go above 64th notes in SM's editor.

            Those would be for a super weird file, that would have 54253425ths in it.

              Well, they'd get rounded to the nearest frame, or 1/30 of a second, so it wouldn't really be any different than what you could do with, say, 192nds. Still shouldn't be used in FFR, though.

                Or it could be as simple as a crazy music artist who decided to put 5ths and 9ths into their song.

                Err... that would be weird indeed. Chopin did it, but...
                yeah.

                  Wrong, twice.

                  It would be easy to get a white note file accepted.
                  And you can go above 64ths in the SM editor.

                  Try this:

                  Lay down 4 quarter notes in a measure in a blank file. Use the double bpm command on that measure. Take each note and move it forward one 64th. Now, use the halve BPM funtion.

                  You now have four notes offset from the beat by one 128th. They would appear as white in FFR. Since this could be any BPM, it could possibly be a very easy file and get accepted.

                      Hey whoa, I've already done that.
                      I added a splash of color into one of my newer files.

                        It'd be pretty interesting to see a file with every single note offbeat by a 192nd note.

                        I mean, it wouldn't make any difference whatsoever, even though I know Tass/Shash would refuse to let it get in the game.

                        If one of my files makes it in, which I'm fairly positive it will, it'll literally be completely purple with only about 6 sections with pink notes. That is, if the noteskins retain their current colors into 3rd style
