Thoughts on Piano...

Alright this is a trifecta of questions, I just thought these up, and they sound good right now, though I expect regretting posting later on as usual.

1) How many peoples who play FFR also play Piano?

2) Would playing Piano help you in FFR? (And Vice-Versa)

3) How do you think the great Pianists (hehe) of old fare nowadays on FFR?

1) I piano. Lol.

2) I'm fairly positive it has helped me, but I can't really speak for others. In turn, FFR probably helps sightreading (piano) in the slightest degree.

3) It all depends on how well they adapt to such a change.

One handed spread trilling helps a lot with trills on piano.

I play the piano.

It might if your decent as your fingers would be use to moving and having beats for each hand which would help 2 handers on running men.

Not to be mean, but the old piano players would be "overjoyed" that their once great music has been neglected, reformatted, and turned into 8 bit audio files for ffr and ipods =)

1) I don't play piano but I play other instruments.

2) Trills on the violin work well on FFR. Too bad its only for the left hand.
