I've been playing FFR on and off for awhile now and with that time I've pretty much mastered the art of 3 finger playing(one-handed). Since I've been sticking around I really think I have a future in this site and I feel the only way I can advance any better is to switch styles. I had the idea awhle back and tried it out. As I thought it didn't turn out very well, even with all the practice. I probably wasn't even doing it right in the first place. I gave up on that and worked on easy AAA's for awhile now I'm back to thinking about it. Every time I go to look at somebodys SM recording they never play one-handed. I don't know what to do so I'm asking for some help.

There was a thread Reach made about finger styles that could help you. I searched for it but couldn't find it.

Who would have thought that threads about general FFR things should go in FFR General Talk?
I know kostka didn't.

Re: 4 Finger Spread Help.
Yea, I'd work on either 4 finger or spread. Spread is probably the most accurate, but it takes a little getting used to. I'd work on 4 finger for a while first. Start on the easier songs so you get used to what fingers you're using for what arrows. I used:
Left index - down
right index - up
left middle - left
right middle - right
That'd be how I'd recommend working on 4 finger, makes it easier when you go to spread. And there are people who stick to one hand and get really good at it, so whatever floats your boat.Comment

Yeah, I tried that but my arrow pad is so small I can't fit my fingers on there very well. I have to switch keys to letters. I'm still trying to figure that out.Yea, I'd work on either 4 finger or spread. Spread is probably the most accurate, but it takes a little getting used to. I'd work on 4 finger for a while first.
