    Dance Pad?

    I just have a question.
Ive been playing FFR for awhile now and have figured out how to hook my ps2 dance dance revolution pad up to my computer. It works great to. I just want to know if there is any way i can use my mat with ffr?

    Re: Dance Pad?

There is, but it's probably not worth it, as ffr's boo system means that you can't be resting on any pad when there isn't a corresponding arrow to that pad. So you'll probably get a whole lot of boos.

Someone made a thread for how to do this earlier, I'd suggest using the search feature to look for it, if you're still interested.

It was in the keymapping sticky, but they took it off because of lack of interest.

If you want to hook up your pad to the comp, I'd just use stepmania (even though I personally hate it), cause FFR just isn't built right for it. If you can find good files with Stepmania then it'd be fun, but...If you really wanna use it with FFR, like these guys said, there's a way, it's just a matter of finding someone who can tell ya how

            How can you hate SM?

I believe your computer treats the dance pad like a joystick, and you can map the different joystick functions to arrows.

I don't know, there's just something about SM that really annoys me. I don't really HATE it, it's just not for me. My friend says I was probably just using a bunch of really crappy songs that were made horribly. I'm not sure, though

the computer thinks it is a game pad
the arrows are the "point of view" arrows
i forgot ffr has boos if you push the arrow with nothing there
i guess ill just stick to the DDR supernova
                FFR is still great though
