dont you think they should make some levels with not just mainly red and blue arrows? I think it would look cool if there was a song that only had green and stuff like that instead of just making most of them blue and red.

Colors of the arrows depend on the type of note. Most "red and blue" files were added into FFR a long time ago, and are preserved. All new files added have distinguished colors for each note. Switching all of the old files from just "red and blue" wont happen.Comment

Like scottish said, the differnet colored arrows represent the different notes in the song (quarter, eighth, etc), so if you want to see pretty colors I suggest The Games We Played pt. 2, very colorful, has green, pink, purple etc. :]Comment

yeah, the colors tell you what kind of note it is so you wont miss any
so if you changed it to that now, that would mess with our heads because we would think its one type of note like we're used to when it would be completly different.

Colored notes are for timing. It helps all of the good people to know at which rate to hit the arrows(aside from BPM and other factors) so they can AAA it.Originally posted by the sun fan

If all the songs had messed up colors it would mess me up so bad. If I ever want to just see a bunch of pretty colors, like someone else said "The Games We Played" all have pretty colors, and are relatively simple

At least 3 upcoming files are FULL of pretty colors... Ruins, Honolulu, and Improvisation et Chien.
EDIT- Gaussian Blur 3 has a ton, too.
