Keyboard's repeat rate?

Is there any way to alter the keyboard's repeat rate? I can't hit jacks whatsoever on this computer, but on other computers, I can hit them no problem.

Or does that have nothing to do with it? The jack-hating computer I'm on is a laptop if it means anything at all.

Probably somewhere in the control panel.

I figured to look there, but the "Repeat rate" in CP is the frequency a character appears when a key is held down, so no go with Control Panel.

That repeat rate is for when a character key is held down. I thought I hit the jackpot when I first saw that, but no go.

When I mean repeat rate, I mean if I hit the same arrow key repeatedly and quickly, is there a way for it to register better than it does right now?

It probably varies with keyboards.

Hmm that's what I thought...and on a related note, is there any way to fix up the keyboard settings so that I can hit more than 2 notes simultaneously? I can't do hands on the simfiles, and it's quite annoying.

Key limits are a common problem, especially on laptops. If you are combining the arrows and numpad and the problem persists you are stuck finding a combination that works in Stepmania as far as I know (and if you can't find one that works on Stepmania get a USB keyboard)
