I was just curious, does FFR have any sufficient source of income?

Well, they get some from donations, some from selling stuff like t-shirts, some more all the adds, and probably a lot more ways, too. If it's still going, I would consider it to be sufficient, but it's definitely not a surplus.

Oh, I wondered why I couldn't find it anymore. I noticed there's a way to buy a membership now, and I still want my FFR shirt.

I still want an FFR shirt, too. Heck, I'm enough of a nerd that I'd buy FFR shirts for all my friends who play the game. The merchandise should be implemented again.

Merchandise didn't work out because Synth had to run out to UPS all the time and sometimes he forgot and people would whine etc.

The donation button was removed because everyone was like

OH WELL DONATE LOTS OF MONEY

But he hardly got any donations whatsoever.

as of THIS INSTANT, the source of income for FFR is the ads that are on the site. that's it.

o snap... i guess there is another way FFR will earn income. that DOES work (i tested it myself with a nice donation to synth, although it did remove my admin powers, lol.)... but we're still working on adding features for it.

and as of yesterday, i was the only one to buy the subscription. so buy buy buy! heh.
