listen to the music and listen for where the beats are. Don't watch the arrows as they get to the top, just listen for when they'll be there. And practice.

i remember when i used to suck alot, i could barely beat the mario song...but i just kept practicing (like anti said repeatadly) and now i can Fc life goes on and i can almost fc uber rave...so close, yet so far...argh.
