Speed?

Anyway, I have been away from FFR for almost a month, and now I'm comming back
since exams are almost over.
Of course, My speed has suffered >.>
I cant even pass the streams in that new song(new for me at least XD) Rose.
Any good ways to build up on speed?

Play faster songs more often until they are not so difficult for you.

From the looks of what you did on rose, other songs that don't suck around the same difficulty should be good. I think it's better to practice for speed in StepMania though.

Get a manicure and grease your hands with Crisco before you play. That works for me.

I find that hitting the keys harder forces you to build up stamina, kind of like punching them out. Like, when hard patterns come, or you're lagging behind, push yourself to go faster and harder rather than shrink back or let the arrows get ahead of you. As well, play fast songs out of your reach a few times. My playing Eggman's OML on 1.2x rate really helped my speed overall. Anything over 200 bpm streams used to own me, but now I can comfortably get 2 CBs on OML 1.2x. Now I'm working on 1.3x, and that's helping a lot too.

So yes, practice. But also push yourself. I find that whoring doesn't help, unless you're still getting over the initial sight-reading hump.
