how do you get your "total games played" to go up? do i need to play the original FFR? cause that one is trash.. i've played 10k simfiles and ****, but it doesnt count up.. is it actually the FFR you need to play?

Yea and it's not to very smart to call FFR trash but yes you have to play songs on FFR for your "total games played" to go up.

Only if you can get the right simfiles. The majority of FFR's sim database are second-rate.

Stepmania IS NOT FFR, seriously. FFR has qualities that stepmania does not have, and vice versa, you can try comparing them but in the end they are different programs that just happen to have the same goal.

Your games played counter goes up as you play FFR1, the original game.

How stupid would I sound if I constantly said things like: Stepmania's challenge system sucks.. The songs that Stepmania comes with sucks.. Stepmania's online stats suck.. Stepmania's multiplayer sucks.. Stepmania's Secret songs suck..

Again, you can't compare. They each have their strengths and making statements like "XXX SUCKS!" shows ignorance. They compliment eachother. As a matter of fact, Chris Danford and I chat occasionally about this stuff.

Uh, no. That's the whole point. See, Stepmania doesn't have those things. Mr. Synthlight is getting the point across that each game has its own merits and unique features and that comparing the two is like comparing Power Rangers to a bowl of Grape Nuts ... except the Power Rangers totally own the bowl of Grape Nuts ...
