    Will this work?

I don't know how to play standard worth crap, but I think this may work for some of you. I'm well aware that after screenshrinking, standard scrollers can't tell if they're getting perfects, goods, or averages. Well, what if you didn't screenshrink, but instead, got another window, like one of those instant messaging windows that's always on top, to cover up the lower part of the screen, but still allowed you to see your score at the bottom. What I'm trying to say would look something like this:

This way, you should be able to play as well as with normal screenshrinking, but still be able to tell if you get goods/averages.

I would like that. The problem in implementation would likely be in accomodating the ability to adjust where the window cuts off.

Another solution might be to simply change the receptor visual to match those of the accuracies (like in SM, where hitting a great makes the receptor flash green).

I'm not talking actually changing the game. I thought with WhatPulse you could adjust the size of the window to make it any size you wanted, and make it be always on top, so you could get it however you wanted.

yea. the issue would be to force it to always be on top... whatever it is you'd be using would have to be on top.

Yes, so using another browser window is not an option, since you need the FFR window to be active in order to play.

I'm not sure if it exists, but there might be a program that allows you to cover up a window or modify it in some way. Might take some googling to find...
