    Backgrounds

    Is there any reason why new songs have blank backgrounds? I'm not saying I want them in; some just distract people/obscure the arrows, but I am just wondering. No song has been made in a while with a background that I know of.

              i could live with the non BRIGHT BRIGHT BRIGHT blinding bg's.
              like p4u blinds me and i can barely read the arrows.
              so dark bg's ftw.
