    FFR + PSP

Alright, so I was surfing the FFR Forums on my PSP like normal, because its much more relaxing than sitting on a computer chair in front of your computer, and I had the stroke of genius to try to play FFR on my PSP. With this idea, I got excited and I went to download the newest network update. And I quickly realized I haven't updated my PSP in a long time. So anyways I updated my PSP (which contained the Flash Player update ) So I surfed on over to FFR The Game page. And I discovered I got an error saying "Not Enough Memory". So I put the cache lower, and deleted all cookies I didn't need.

Doing this all, I retried and it started to load, but after a while it said Not Enough Memory. I went to a different array of websites to find out a PSP has 8mb of ram. So I was thinking, FFR is probably too slow on the PSP to run desirably. However it is still making me mad that I can't play it. So I decided to click the quality button to lower the quality, before it gave me that error. So I clicked it and it ran a lot faster, (which is expected) however it gave me the error message 20 seconds later. I figured out the causes.

    1. The multiplayer window takes up too much memory on my PSP to function properly. So that makes sense that the game itself loads but then the error comes along when the multiplayer end tries to work.

    2. I am trying the high resolution option. This would be fixed if the Low Resolution version worked, but it doesn't. Maybe it will be fixed in the future.

    The solutions?

    1. Find a FFR mirror that doesn't have the MP option, (which i don't think exists anymore)

    2. When the low resolution option is up and running, try it on that.

NOTE: The memory stick has no effect on internet memory for the PSP. I have a 4GB memory stick duo, and it still gives me this error.

NOTE: This thread is probably useless to most FFR users, and will encourage some people to spam this thread with "fail" but i just thought it would be a cool idea to try to run FFR on a PSP. Besides, when i lowered the quality on FFR, it actually ran decently enough to play it (although not as good as my computer) before it gave me the error. I'm not sure why I am posting this here, since i know the solutions to this problem, but I just thought in case any of you FFR'rs own a PSP yourselves, you may want to give it a try.

    Before you try it yourself:
    - get Network Update v3
    - make sure you enable Flash Player in your system settings
    - try and figure out how to save as much memory as possible

If anyone comes up with a solution that works right now, feel free to post. I will update as my venture with FFR + PSP goes on.

This is about where I normally get to before...

    UPDATE 1

    UPDATE 2

    UPDATE 1--
I got further in FFR to the song selection page, it clicked the song before it gives me an error by:
    - turning off images
    - turning off image animation
    - turning off javascript
    (obviously keeping on flash)

    UPDATE 2--
I tried reducing the text size, therefore taking less room, but this whole effort is still pointless without FFR Low Resolution. However I loaded the song 100% before it died this time.
