I was just wondering, is there going to ever be a good song in the Rock section. I mean, there are a couple alright songs, but i'd really like a crazy--hard one, unlike the others. Anyway, i was just wondering if there was a possibility of that.

If FFR can gets the rights from the author of a crazy rock song, then yes, otherwise, no. Therefore, the answer to what you're asking is...the possibility does exist.

Hopefully there will be a death metal song in the rock section I mean cmon now MSI has like all there songs stepped we didnt need another. Alot of the Death metal bands are underground anyway so theres 100% chance we can get a good one.

....MSI has many of their songs stepped FOR STEPMANIA. I had to talk for about 3 hours with their manager to get permission for that ONE song for FFR.


be my guest in getting permission for some kind of speed or death metal song... we'll get it in the game. otherwise, *shrugs*. I managed to get Straight to Video in recently as well as Victims & Martyrs. Before those 2 songs, it was about 3 years to the most recent rock song.

i think that some of the rock songs are good but... lol... no offence but some of them are just terrible, the only way you can play them is no sound, or at least one of them, i forgot which one but its SOOO bad. ive played twice, once to find out how bad it is, and another to boost my score a little for average ranking :/

Right and for those who dont play sm and like MSI probably liked that it was added. I know u worked hard to get the song in but like everyone that actually plays SM now and then sighed and said "not another one"

marth: hence my comment about the other rock songs being from 3-4 years ago... just about EVERY file from then is really offsync.

I wouldn't mind having other songs that are similar to Victims And Martyrs and Straight To Video added to the Rock section.
But I shall stay content with what is available now.

V&M is a tight song. I think it's hard because it tests your technique quite well. It's long too so that makes it endurance building too for some.

well, i've seen a vid of someone playing a song from DragonForce on SM, i checked them out and they have some really long but very good none the less.

Not some ... ALL there songs are long except for this one stepped by suicide sloths which is only liek 30 secs rofl. I wish they could get on ffr but it might not happen ... well see.

I was thinking Berseker but I wasnt sure if Tass would take it. The thing is like MSI alot of their songs hav been stepped too but as long as the one for FFR is the least but challenging then ill like it.

ya, i guess, of the 9 songs i have from them, one called "Apostles of Darkness" is the shortest, being 1 and a half minutes, but the beat sucks, anyway, i guess they have two short songs, and all the rest are killer with the beat and all. Rock on DragonForce!!! :]
