The "spread" you are describing is still not spread.

"A. It's almost impossible to do those hard songs like flight of the bumblebee.
          B. Your fingers have to work really fast.
          C. It makes loud noises sometimes while playing because you lift your fingers up a lot and press the keys really hard since your trying to press it fast."

          A. It is not almost impossible to do the hard songs! I'm a beginner, but I have seen someone complete Flight of the Bumblebee with one hand.
          B. Your fingers have to work really fast no matter how many hands you're playing with.
          C. What? That's riddiculious. How anal of you.

The neutrality of the OP is hereby called into question. Not a good definition article if there are prejudices involved.

Personally, though I have only been playing for a couple weeks, I find it more difficult to play with two hands than with one. Granted, I will not be able to play the more difficult levels for quite some time, but I find it is not impossible to get combos with one hand! Please consider revising the original post to remove your prejudiced comments. Try playing one handed perhaps before you do, since if I am not mistaken you said in the post that you never have.

Yeah, I play one-handed (three fingers). It seems more graceful to me, and just sorta flows

AND, I can drink something while playing, or talk on the phone. SO...I don't have to drop out of the middle of a MP match when the phone rings. XD

You don't need to driink or talk on the phone while playing ffr you can do that after u finish the song or before u start it.

i think when dore was talking about spread, he was talking about what i do, which is 2 fingers on the arrowpad and 2 on the keypad, or you can map keys and do a/s and k/l

and yes, it is possible to do some hard songs one handed without thumb by mapping the keys a/s/d/f as left/up/down/right and have fun

Wat exactly do you mean by DO? Do you mean like passing a song? If so how is passing a song going to help you unless no one else can pass it.

Re: One or two hands while playing FFR.

no offense... but if u look at everyone who commented here all one handers are like very high ranks as in the top 100000000000 thousands or so....

and i have never seen any 1 hander beat a 2 hander... except if the two hander never played b4...

but i guess 1 hand is just for relaxing... i wouldn't use it to compete...

and how is 2 hands cheating...???? were just playing the game....

wat if you were playing an xbox with one hand and then you challenge someone who plays with two hands... would they cheat??? two hands is just probably a step ahead.. but not cheating... its still ok to one hand though... for fun i play with one hand....

and the ABSOLUTE winner.... FFR thong with "Too Tight" across the front. the back would also work, but then it wouldn't be a thong.

I don't really think you could compare FFR to a Xbox, because as far as I know, most people use the controller with 2 hands.

Do what feels natural to you. The most common play styles are:

"Four-finger": one finger on each key
                        gg.
