    Quick Q

It has just occurred to me that I've been playing index all my life. Having moved from the pad, to Stepmania, to FFR, it's not surprising. After pondering why some streams in Master/Guru are impossible to combo using index, I realized that I could, in fact, use more than two fingers. So, my fellow FFR players, could you inform me of the "spread position?" I've tried four-finger a couple times only to fail terribly. I've been playing DDR for two years now, and it's going to be incredibly difficult for my mighty index fingers to want to crowd with any other fingers.

I really do type too much.
    In summary...
    What is spread?

I'm pretty sure Spread is reconfiguring your key controls so that your left hand (for left and down) is far apart from your right hand (for up and right).

When I used to play Stepmania, I had my arrow keys set to A,S,comma, period. That way my hands didn't overlap / collide mid-stage.

      Re: Quick Q

I will have to attempt in messing with my key configurations then.
Gah. I could never do crossovers. Now, this will solve that problem.
      Hooray. Thank you much.

you can do what i do which is use 8 or 6 and then the arrow pad
or get a second keyboard ( lol i do that for resonance) or you can go to the autohotkey thread, something like that, and set up a file to spread out your arrow keys to any key you want
i find the last one works the best
