on FFR there is the phenomenon of Index playing, this is using two hands and only the index finger from each hand. This isnt the point of the thread though, the point is, why do you use index/spread? other than for gaining skill.
i mean i use index because me and my friend when we first started playing ffr (back when MP wasnt around) we used index because it more replicates DDR, two legs (two hands) and a foot for each (finger for each). This way you can practice crossovers and still get ahead on DDR.
Now a days i see lots of spread players, and one handed players. not only is one handing it probably bad for your hand in the long run, but both spread and one handed players arent getting the actual DDR feel. but then again this is FFR, so maybe this is a trademark of the Musical Genre. Ability to hit all 4 arrows at the same time.
Kind of makes you think.
