how about making a ffr game that you can download install and play using better graphics then the online flash graphics for real cool and smooth gameplay
and the game will still be online it will connct like battlefield and all those top notch games i think with a million users it must be
and maybe with the new power of a software game using like a nvidia GPU new stuff could be in the game like 4 people playing in the same time in the same window and all kind of things

Things like that are being investigated, but likely you would guess it takes a lot of resources.

Never fear, we are looking into things like that. Just over time we do all we can currently to keep up with all the tasks we have already.

To be honest (not to start a debate), stepmania and stepmania online would not carry the functionality he is looking for. FFR would have a song list that would be available to everyone, a central server for multiplayer, challenge system, store, etc.. (the list goes on right?). Probably even automatic updates. There are all kinds of possibilities to explore on that side.

The fact remains that we are low on development resources. Besides the ads you see next to the game, this side currently doesn't pull in anything significant to develop with. But again, we are working on that.
