      Re: SotW: Sensorium

Didn't read most of these posts, so I apologize if I bring up issues which others have already thorougly detailed.

#1: Patterns are annoying. This may be different for 4 finger players, I suppose, but it's still annoying for me.

#2: Rhythms are annoying. I don't see how anyone could like the rhythms.

#3: The rhythms which are annoying seem to not go to anything in many places.

#4: An overuse of jumps. Some people like this, but I can see no reason why jumps were used in many of the places they were. On top of this, I'm pretty sure I recall a 16th stream which was going to a quiet background sound while a more interesting sound and rhythm was going on in the foreground.

It's nice to see new music, but it's kind of ruined when the steps are subpar. I notice that some people suggest playing this with the sound off. I'll try that in a moment, but I doubt even that would allow me to get by the annoying patterns.

Resynced, steps are a frame later now.

Better? Feels good enough for me.

            It's early for me.

BTW are you fixing colors like SP and Deli where red and blue randomly switch, along with red note syndrome and stuff?

The rhythm feels even more random without sound.

In fact, the rhythm that the arrows are on feel so awkward that I sincerely doubt that any song actually having those rhythms in them could even be classified as music.

Dore: clear your cache. Colors on SP have been normal since like a day after it was released.

                    Re: SotW: Sensorium

It wasn't too bad. The patterns were strange and there were lots of unnecessary doubles and 8th notes. Basically the step technique didn't match the song.

Ah, Kit got rid of the pink arrows. Oh well.

They'll show up in some other more recent songs, though.

                            is silence getting a noteskin?

No. None of the blue-note songs are getting edited in any way, by order of Synth.

I'm skipping GGC, because quite frankly that thing would be worse with a noteskin...so next up is JRB, for tomorrow.
