Hand placement

I was just wondering, i just tried playing with two fingers on the Left, and Down of the arrow keys, and the Up, and Right of the numpad, and i found it to be very easy. I usually play with the numpad, and was wondering who has tried this, or use this on a regular basis, and if it is not too un-common. Just to know if i'm weird or not. :P

left-down-num8-num6 is the most common spread pattern used on FFR.

I just use the numpad, playing spread. To me it just seems more consistent than using both the arrow keys and numpad.
