Quick question...

I was bored, and watching some FFR videos on youtube and I noticed that a lot of the good people and people who FC the harder levels tend to un-maximize their screen..so that they only see about half the stage (ie. http://youtube.com/watch?v=pIRmF_Jk8uA)

Does it make it easier or something? I tried it a few times and I didnt do as well. I usually look at the arrows about half way down so i can press them in time >_<
maybe I just suck..lol

Since it 'deletes' half of the screen, the arrows don't seem as cluttered, and it's easier to see what you need to concentrate on first and to not see what you need to concentrate on later. I think it's something like that. I personally don't do it.

its screen cutting... people just do it to either impress somebody or to improve, if they can only see haklf of the screen it means their reaction time needs to be quicker and you get better speed so you are able to do more challenging levels, i tried it before and it really does improve you faster but i havent been doing it lately because its just more fun to play full screen and improve gradually

It is done because it makes the arrows feel like they're scrolling faster, because in case you didn't know, FFR scrolls SLOW AS HELL compared to what most of us are used to.

SCREEN SHRINKING. It makes it so you have to read only 3 or 4 lines of arrows at a time.

I've always thought the main reason no one has ever called screenshrinking cheating is that most people who are dense enough to think it would be cheating are also too dense to realize that it makes things easier, not harder.
