One important thing to note while you switch--you are still about as good as you were one handed. Frequently I'll go back to try and one handed some songs, and I'm usually better than the last time I tried to one hand them. Unfortunately 2 handed is still way better for me.

I'm still getting the hang of down, though I find its usefulness lacking as it doesn't let me MP down. Screen Shrinking down is a bit of a pain too, since you can't just scroll down all the way and have it shrinked perfectly.

Open a new hotkey program and edit the program to whatever keys you want to this format for super spread ffr style!

someone has told me to try two finger-two hand trick. Meaning using two fingers from each hand upon the keys. Mine however, like to switch and do weird things, hitting random keys~ I never keep them on the same pattern.

Use whatever suits you. Maybe a change will help though, to improve stamina on your hands. Mine hurt after so long but that goes with fast typing as well... like now. lol

What about me? I started playing four finger all on the arrow keys, then played with index over the summer. I am now better at index than i am at four finger, but i think im pretty close to my limit. Should i go back to four finger but spread, left index/middle down and right, and right index/middle 8 and 6?

Index just won't get you all that far in FFR...some songs are impossible to do well on with index (Pants or EHHS, for example) so you're better off using spread, IMO.

I think that index is fun to play on the numpad....ONLY on DDR songs because it's like stepping wif your fingers.

I feel like I'm not getting any better either...maybe worse if anything. Maybe for people who play one handed they should play index first...or just add one finger from their left or right hand (depending on what hand they use in the first place)

I think all of the one handers should just switch playing styles, except for the few big names who actually make it worthwhile reading their posts and seeing their extraordinary scores. Otherwise, I think it's a complete waste of time trying to master the art of one-handed-ness. Forgive me if you disagree but that's my opinion

Novacaine was a 12 back when he used to play often. He could have gotten lower ... probably did. But 12 is the only number he mentioned to me. Some of the more talented indexers like Arch0wl can do jump streams as good as any spreader.

Average rank was introduced while Novacaine was away--his average rank was never anywhere near 12.

And the best and fastest indexers in the world, who are WAAAAAAAAAY better than Arch ever was, can barely pass MSWGO in SM (TONS of jumpstream). Good (not even top tier, just good) spread players can AA it. No indexer can even come remotely close to a good spread player when it comes to jumpstream, period.

My fault I'm thinking of overall. I agree with you with spreaders being better at jump streams than indexers I was just making a point that indexers can do jump streams. MSWGO is was too advanced for any indexer lol.

Yeah.. a 10000 improvement in rank is nice. and I feel I can keep improving even now. Just FC'ed Save Me which was really kinda hard to even stay alive on when I started this post.

you do realize that overall rank is not based on skill.... only based on your grand total score. more you play, more your grand total score increases, more your rank decreases.

You've played 4500 games and you just combod save me... Kind of surprising i thought you were at a higher level but good job anyways stick with something besides one handed.
