    question about stepfile speed...

i REALLY wanna put the steps on 1.5x or 2.0x...can't remember which one is available in this game, however in the settings it is greyed out. is there any way i can enable this? in stepmania i am damn good...i run on C400 option but that's not available, just as long as i can play on a faster stepfile speed. i'm just babbling now.

but simply: is there a way to enable those options at the top of the settings page in ffr?

    for example:

No there is no way to change the speed on ffr.

Hahahahaha, You're damn good at stepmania? That has to be one of the worst Quasar scores ever.

let's not get into a flame war shall we? and c'mon, it's not that bad. however if you've ever watched me play ffr it's really quite embarassing compared to when i play SM.

again i asked a simple question, although if what you say is true, i'm curious as to why it's even there in the first place.

here's maybe a better example? *sigh*

No, not really. It's okay for a beginner I guess.

....okay this is one reason i dislike boards for games like this. way too many kids such as yoursel (not all younger ones, just some) who thinks that puberty will hit faster if they make themselves seem badass. you play flash flash revolution for crying out loud. and you're probably GOOD at it. how badass is that? not at all. i honestly don't see where and how you feel the need to criticize me, especially in this case. i have done nothing to offend you, nor anything to upset you. so honestly, why do you do so?

he was merely commenting.... when compared to those who normally post brags on these boards, that quasar is fairly poor. compared to anyone who plays ffr/sm... it's probably not halfway bad.

no need to start bitching or calling names or anything like that.

and as was already stated.... no speed mods in FFR until 3rd style. and no idea when 3rd style will be released.

Airman, decent scores if your a beginning I guess, if not, then just practice more. A good way to get better at ffr is set your CMOD on SM to c300, the speed ffr is at.

                  Re: question about stepfile speed...

agh. i wasn't bragging. i was merely comparing it to my skill in ffr. for example, i can easily full combo uber rave in sm, however i can barely get through one stream without missing anything in ffr...quite embarassing, i know. i don't know why this is. all i know is that i perform much better on a faster step speed.

i also have major (okay well not major) lag issues in ffr. it's not my computer, (opteron 170, 2 gigs ram, x850xtpe) and i have major problems in-game on harder(ish) songs. especially ones with lots of air. still have problems when i turn the quality down as low as possible. any fix?

                  argo: screencutting...eh?
