bmp>jpg?

im trying to upload a new avatar but it needs to be in a jpg. it says that it is a bmp. does anyone know how to change that. thanks

open it in mspaint or whatever
click save as
and change the type to .jpg

just open it up in paint, click "save as" in the menu, and right under the file name it has a "save as type" window... Just select JPEG and you're good to go.

Yeah so open it in MSPaint or something, and do "SaveAs" under "File" and choose JPEG. That should work

png works too, and is better quality

Paint "save as" .jpg quality sucks.

Try doing it with Adobe and selecting max quality when saving.
