    Tired wrist

Alright for the past hour about i've been playing splash beats and maple leaf rag pretty much nonstop trying to learn more difficult songs (i'm somewhat new to this) but i had to mostly type this with my left hand because my wrist is on fire. I was just wondering if other peoples wrists get tired, i mean this is very painful i can't do some of the songs i can normally do right now because of my wrist........can i stop this pain?

I'm just hanging out in the forums......Too much pain!

      Re: Tired wrist

I tried to put all that information (age, location, stuff) in but it said i had to have a parents e-mail thing if i was under 13......... I'm older than 13 but i cant get it to go away mostly because im lazy and because i hate following directions, too much reading and thinking at the same time. I'm not a multi tasker.

think of it as going to the gym. when you first start going, you get REALLY sore afterwards. but the more you go, the longer you can go and the less sore you are afterwards.

            same thing here.

Don't overdue it and injure yourself. Would be really crappy to injure yourself permanately.

If you feel pain that's okay. If you feel SHARP pain stop.

                    Re: Tired wrist

I wonder if its not normal for me to play ffr on the hardest songs for hours straight and not even feel pain in my wrist? And I do this every day of every week .

rest ur wrists on something (like the edge of your jeyboard of you have space). dont play with flexed wrists either, it causes cts.
