Because i dont think members make stepfiles that are even decent.
Only certain people put together good ones every week.

The only reason we even still get ANY songs added is because Synth is awesome.

This game and site are free for your enjoyment. You should be glad you get anything at all.

Anyway, wasn't the song of the week thing originally supposed to end last September or something? I mean, wasn't it supposed to just be a summer time thing last year or something?

@smitty: there are lots of simfiles... they have... what... 21 for 3rd Style? All awesome, I'd imagine, of different genres than electronica too. It can't be that hard to come by decent sims for FFR.

Anyway, there are a lot of people who can step songs on the spot (and have).

*shrugs* I've submitted 2 songs that were stepped by solid stepfile artists to LD. Still waiting on them to be added. Also have permission to use 3 other files, none have been stepped yet.

But... a lot of the reason is that we don't often have a big influx of songs to add. It is not easy to get permission to use songs.

I would suggest that it takes a certain amount of time for a simfile artist to create a simfile. If we did more than one song per week, then it would be VERY hard to keep up with the demand. From what I think, the Song of the Week should be changed to "Latest Addition to FFR".
