Jackhammer Suggestions?

Is there any viable means or strategies for jackhammer patterns? As it stands, if 16th jackhammers start flying my bar in both FFR and SM drops like crazy, I can't understand anyway of mastering this technique, although i find that with 8th jackhammers sometimes after a long series my accuracy starts slipping and I lose my MA/PA (combo attack if its that horrible). So is there any definitive strategy or training method, or is it just a case of smashing my finger on the key until it learns to push faster.

Thanks for the help guys, if I can get jackhammers I can start working on FC'ing some songs.

A lot of people hit Jackhammers too fast. I guess it's just a case of practising until you get the technique for it.

Keep the beat on long 16th/8th jackhammers. Make sure to accent the 4th notes so you remember where you are.

For shorter faster ones... just practice them a lot. And make sure to lift your fingers quickly so you can tap down more quickly.

Yea when most people see jacks or trills coming up they freak out either because they know that they suck at them (and therefore do them too fast) or they know how to read it and therefore get into a pattern of doing it (and then become off beat rather than staying with the music).

I found that if I slowed down I was hitting more notes and more accurately even though I thought it was too slow. I still suck but I can hit more and for a slightly longer period.

But different things work for different people I guess.

Umm for stability and accuracy, i usually put my middle finger on top of my index, and straighten my finger out. It may slow me down a little, but i can hit alot of jacks easier that way.

You have to hit FFR jacks earlier than it looks.
