    after 2700 games, I still suck...

    you know like the level Beethoven Virus? yeah... umm...I get around 100 max combos and 6 credits and I misses around 15 keys. Players that only played 500 games can do better than me. Am I retarded or what???

          People just have different growth rates. It took me after a thousand games I think until I was finally able to FC beethoven Virus. Also don't just judge your growth on one song because you may suck at one but kickass at others mostly because of the patterns in the song.

          If you just want to be an overall good player, play StepMania for a month and I guarantee that you'll be able to FC most of the very hard songs and do pretty good on most songs with a higher difficulty.

          Also forgot to say that how good you do also depends on how often you play. If you don't use it you lose it.

                  Honestly though... I couldn't FC beethoven virus when I played. But after an 18 month break, I'm doing all kinds of things I couldn't do before... including getting a 2 good FC on BV.

                  I recommend screenshrinking, if you aren't. Apart from that... practice.

                                                          I play on my laptop. Instead of screen shrinking..I cut my zoom down to 85%. Much clearer..much faster. No lag.
