switch to 2 hands and practice at that. WHen I switched to 2 hands I couldn't do it at all, but after awhile I got better and better and now I can do a lot of guru only songs

I am still horrible at the game, I think mainly because I don't play much. Also, when I play a level and lots of arrows start to fly by I sorta panic and randomly mash buttons, habit of mine.

i used to play 1-handed but now i play 2-handed. it just takes some getting used to.

Quasar is fast? lol There are 1 handers who AAA this in their sleep.

How to get better at FFR:

1. Practice.
2. Screenshrink.
3. Play SM.

Go.

i disagree with the last one there shash, stepmania doesnt always help you out, it would most of the time hurt my scores more than help them, so i quit playing it altogether, i havent played it in about 4 months, and in the last 4 months, ive made leaps and bounds in my skills, soley from playing ffr, i have no idea how my accuracy made such a vast improvement like it did (i think its cause i have a loud sound system and a keyboard that makes alot of noise when you hit the keys lol) so i say just practice with FFR, learn the songs, know the songs, pwn the songs =P

and are siggys no longer updated? wtf? im 21st lol

if u think ffr is easier than sm then u have serious problems and should go to rehab....anyways... shash is right follow his ideas and also Quasar is AAA'able for me on 1.3-1.4 its not hard (but im 2 hand)

FFR is easier then SM, though. No marvelous window, and no Reality/Disregard/Data Drain/Death Moon/etc etc all the hard crud that's on SM is unmatched by anything on FFR.

It's possible to get great at FFR and never play SM. SM has more songs if you like new patterns though.

Stepmaina has like unlimited songs, as many as you load on it, only as many as your hard drive lets you hold, mine currently has 235, and I seam to be playing ffr more then that rate now, well usualy I only play it when I have no internet, so yah.

It is good to use when away from internet for awile, to "keep in shape" as it where.
