    Yet another n00b Guide

Here's for all of the n00bs, retards, and the new people that are joining. This post will help you not get flamed for doing a retarded act. Most of the n00bs probably won't read this, but hey, it's worth a try.

    It goes like this:

    1) Don't ask stupid questions that have already been asked many times before,
    a. How many hands do you play with?
    b. How do you use credits?
    c. When's .65 coming out?
    d. Is there a glitch? My credits go away when I try to buy a song
    e. How do you get secret songs? (submitted by Cenright)
    f. Don't ask about the remix. There is already an Announcement about it. Read that instead.
This will help you not get flamed by most of the members of this forum. It will also not make you look so retarded.

    2) Don't post random things.
I've seen some stupid post that are horribly in the wrong forum and have nothing to do with anything in that particular forum. For example, I saw a post in FFR Chat about a different video game, then they started to talk about food and then characters from a different game! WTF? That has nothing to do with FFR! That makes you look very retarded.

    3) Don't double post.
Don't double post. If you don't know what that means, it means that you post the exact same thing twice. Even though people won't flame you as bad as the other two people will still do it. And it makes you look kind of bad.

    4) Don't add another post if it's just going to add on to the other post you just wrote.
If you just wrote a post and you want to add another comment or fix something click the "Edit" button it looks like this and it's at the top right of the post you want to edit.

    5) Don't ask how to put in signatures.
I don't see this often, but I do see it sometimes. It's not that bad, but it'll give you a good first impression by knowing how to put a signature in. First, you need to get into the forums. Then you need to look for the "Profile" button. It looks like And remember IT'S AT THE TOP!!

    6) Don't say S H I T you can't back up.
I see this alot in forums especially when someone is flaming you. If you can't back what you say then don't bother to say anything. If you do say s h i t you can't back up, then they will flame you even more for not backing your previous statement up. It also makes you looks like a n00b to the MAX!

Remember, follow this and you will most likely not be flamed!

Well, that's all I got! if there is more to it tell me and I'll add it ASAP!

Btw, do you think this is good enough to be a Sticky?

It looks Sticky to me. And under 1) E. How do I get the secret songs.

If you play the game, you will find them. The key word is "SECRET".

I think this is pretty good advice alot of people are to lazy to look back on posts to before asking their question. Most likely it's probably been answered already if it's about FFR. Good advice eldiabo.

I don't know about anyone else but I kind of glance over the announcements and stickies and go straight to the active threads... I don't like how they get separated like they are.. =\
Reach: there was this bee. i hate bee\'s...i tryed to kill it, but then it didn\'t die and it started making weird noises so i was like oh (#$% hes gonna sting me. i started running but i triped over some rock and rolled down a hill into the river.

not to be an a$$hole or anything, but STOP MAKING NOOB GUIDES! This is like the 4th one in about 2 weeks. But this one is better than the others I have seen.

Newbie guide would not have to be made if newbies actually READ them and followed them. The more there are, the easier it is for a newbie to find one.

Yeah, but the noob has to actually look for it and none have, becuase there is always a thread about something that has been asked before.

                              1) g. Don't make suggestions to add a song to the game, unless you either made the song or have the rights to the song.

                              7) Make sure you post your FFR-based topics in the right FFR forum.
This means suggestions go in the Suggestion board. Brag posts go in the Brag board. People have a tendency to post stuff about DDR and Stepmania in the FFR General Talk board. This is, for the most part, a forgivable offense. However, try to stick with the forum topic as much as possible.
