    Record from speakers?

    Hey arch, my brother forgot how to set it up to record from the speakers in Sound Recorder

    could you please explain so I can make my own wavs?

          you can't record from speakers. that's why they're called speakers. that's like trying to listen through your mouth.

          buy a computer microphone, you can probably get one for less than $6 or so if you go to a good computer store (i.e. not compusa or something)

                        Yup, I can only get it to record up to 1 min though.

                        An easier way to do it is through audacity, pretty much same process, but there's no time limit.

                          Then record a 120 or however long the track is, but just record nothing. If you're that dense, you need to press record after it has recorded 60 seconds. Then set the little scroller at the beginning so you record over it. Voila.

                            If you Decrease the speed it'll give you more time to record a song.

                              Um, I could use some help with this also! I tried everything you guys said (with Sound Recorder) but when I played the music I wanted, recorded, and played back with sound recorder, it didnt work.......... I didnt set the properties to record from the speakers, can someone do a step by step instruction on how to do this? Thanks in advance!
