is the AIM song worth the 1000 credits?
One day we'll all look back at this, laugh nervously, and try to change the subject.Tags: None -
Re: is the AIM song worth the 1000 credits?
AIM Anthem is terrible.
Hmmm, let's see...
Don't get Party4u unless you're hard to distract.
Stay With Me V2 is a newbie song, but if you're still a newbie then this is definitely your best choice.
Silence is good if like getting a big combo through pure mashing. Unless you're good enough to actually read it, which I doubt.
Neomax is sort of an intermediate difficulty song (similar to Bubble Bobble or After Me), so if that's where you're at buy it.
ASB is fairly tough (harder than Neomax) but kind of ordinary.
Rondo V2 is really hard IMO >< I wouldn't get that until you're better if I were you.
Song for the Nihonjins is about the same difficulty as Neomax, but REALLY long and repetitive. I don't like it, but it's up to you.
Uber Rave V2 is awesome (best purchased song IMO) if you're good enough to read it (175 BPM 16ths)
Courage is about a little harder than Neomax but not as hard as ASB.
Dr. Wily Theme V2 is a total newb song and there really isn't any point in buying it unless you have nothing better to do with your credits.
Night of Flight is also long, but really fun if you're good enough to play it (it's a little easier than Uber V2 IMO)4th Official FFR Tournament - Master division champion!

Here’s my opinion: Neomax > Uber Rave v2 > Rondo v2 > Night of Flight >ASB > Party 4u > Stay With Me v2 > Courage > Silence > Song for the Nihonjins > Dr. Wily Theme v2 >>>>>>>>>>>>>> AIM Anthem

Re: is the AIM song worth the 1000 credits?
Here's what you need if you want to get each of the purchased songs.
AIM Anthem: You have to love jacks. Long, hard and fast jacks. That, and jump streams.
Party 4u: Ability to concentrate on the arrows. I don't think they've fixed that "Try This Level Again" bug yet with that one. :/
Stay With Me V2: Only if you think V1 (in Rock) is too easy.
Silence: Jumpy streams.
NeoMAX: Some good practice with trills. Watch the minijacks at the end, though.
ASB: Streams with occasional jumps.
Rondo Alla Turca V2: If you need to practice streams, this is the one for you.
Song for the Nihonjins: One of those songs you play to get obscene amounts of points per level.
Uber Rave V2: Pissed off at Hyrogashi's original? Aperson has restepped the song so the patterns actually make sense.
Courage: Except for the 16th burst patterns that make it interesting, this is pretty easy to FC.
Dr. Wily V2: One of those songs you play just to AAA it.
Night of Flight: Some interesting patterns and an ability to adjust timing on the fly.Originally posted by thesunfanI literally spent 10 minutes in the library looking for the TWG forum on Smogon and couldn't find it what the fuck is this witchcraft IGR

Wow... We didn't need to know that, but then again, there is no correct way to play FFR I guess, personal preference. Uber Rave v2 is awesome, i've gotten a lot better very quickly after purchasing that song. Buy it D:Originally posted by DJRiDDeRI can mash and beat silence with my penis.Comment
