Most people by now have played me and know that I really suck. Well, I can play just about every song on this site and make some kind of rank to hold my own. But my experience and skills are not where they are suppose to be. Matter in fact, if ya'll have known my life, ya'll would think that through should be experiences, that I could be as good as say ddrzone or archowl right about now.
But the sad story is this. I have played bemani for 4 years. The only (hands-on) eperience I have had for playing bemani was that I have DDR Max 2 for my ps2. I got this at christmas of 2005. I had a first copy about 3 years ago, but I lost it in about 1 month when my first ps2 blew up.
Anyway, I just started FFR in December of 2005. And I am at level 16 with a balance of ups and downs on my levels from 16-20. I almost hit the top 50 list. I was one win away until I came to an old nemisis known as novacaine. He was at level 19 I believe it was and he put me all the way back to level 17. At times, I had long losing streaks but this was ridiculous. Out of 5 games, I lost 5 times.
Now with almost minimum experience to my bemani life-style, I can play with my upmost ability on very challenging, masters only, and few guru stages with very little succession in competition. At least I can combo something out of them with an average of like 400. I even hit the 1000 marker on Max Forever. I can not even fc FF7 at times. So to say the least, with about a half-year worth of the hands of bemain, I can only hold my own with so little. Although the rest of the time, I was on my feet on the arcade version, it has no impact on the hands part of the game. All it has done was increace my devotion to bemani which lead me to where I am today.
With a final analasys, only 6 months of training should only put me into the difficult area on avearage, but I am here on master stages. Knowing what I have known with in the past few months on FFR, I have seen some people at level 9 end up failing difficult stages and about one week later, see them at level 12, able to almost fc cia rave. If you think that this is pathetic, here is the kicker. I joined the ffr olympics recently and I played against shashakiro. I ended up having to do this because he overkilled the competition in a level which he was higher than. This is the score I reported.
