MAX Forever hates me

Yeah...that song hates me...

Only song I play index since I've started 4-finger

Took me about 4 tries to break 1k combo...then I went downhill for a bit, barely breaking 700-800 combo

The a sudden jump, got a 1900 combo...again another downhill, hardly breaking 1200 combo

Then....there's tonight...had a FC going...but guess what? Got 1 miss, finished with a 26(27?) combo >.> end result was like 25?? perfect / 110 good / 1 bad(?) / 1 miss >.>

With my streak...it'll take me a month to FC it...


Yeah, pointless, but had to vent on this song ^^

Well, I find that if you play a song too long at once, your skill degenerates. Try doing a few other songs inbetween combo sessions, it works for me. Just keep practicing, you'll get it.

I really know that feeling, but if your skill level to the song is low, then you can only go up for some time before it does degenerate, but I have seen one of my friends play ddr at a local arcade and he passed a 9-foot level and then failed a 5-foot level, lol.

That happens when I play Secret Zombie Room. I will FC it the first time and then I will get like a 250 combo. And then it goes down and down and down until its like 80 combo.

Well, I find that if you play a song too long at once, your skill degenerates. Try doing a few other songs inbetween combo sessions, it works for me. Just keep practicing, you'll get it.

I find the same. I once wasted nearly an hour and a half trying to FC Wish. It... didn't work.

HA. I will never FC max forever, love playing it though. I usualy avrage 20 - 23 credits per play, so it's not bad. =)

lol, WOW, talk about inconsistent =P
that or he was tired =P depends on what song it was

maybe I've just been playing DDR too long lol
my best set in terms of endurance involved Maxx Unlimited (3rd Stage - B) and PSMO (5th stage - failed at the final slow down <--- pissed me off good...)

glad to see Im not the only one like this ^^ that and not being the only one willing to post about it lol

Man, I've only broken a 1000 combo once on that song, and even then just barely (I think it was 1002). How are you that good at holding a combo?

A FEW months (or more or even some years) to fced that song but hey that was a good song i usually get 23-24 credits each time

Heh. I have more of an issue of my comp screwing up in the middle of the trill sections. Dunno why.

I usually get 800-1200 combo at the start and then my wrists start hurting ;p

How do I hold that high of a combo?

Well...I play a good bit of DDR, and a whole lot more SM >.>

I can A every Rhapsody song on 4-finger (which I've been training myself on), beat Fury Of The Storm (sometimes) and MSWGO (short version, consistently)

That's how I can hold that kind of a combo >.>

I've been able to AA Dawn of Victory and Emerald Sword for a while, can A Fury of the Storm (MagnaTrix's Version). I once got over an 1000 combo on Dawn of Victory before, but I lost balance (doh).

Let's see...my best score on Max is 6, and I got it in MP. I dislike long, long trills, though, I'm always afraid that I'll go offbeat on them and start racking up goods =(

p.s. I can easily AA the FotS that people actually play.
