    Need Serious Help...

Does anybody have any tips on how to FC the out-of-whack part of Night of Flight (The random sixteenth patterns)? Also, what is a good song here that can help me do better on Runny Morning. Those jump streams are impossible to get thru. I'd appreciate any assisstance, thank you.

    try cutting your screen shorter
    it does work

minimize your screen, and pull up the bottom so it covers the bottom third or so of the window
it makes it easier because there are less arrows to look at. You are less likely to jump the gun on hitting them (or come in late for that matter)

Wow! This really helped - I obtained at least 70 combo through that part. I doubt that will help with my Runny Morning Problem. BTW, I'm index.

Switch to 4 fingers for those wacked out chaos/ monster stream songs. I'm an indexer and I can't move them fast enought but on 4 fingers I can hit them more consistantly.

Wow, I finally realized why I was messing up in the middle of Night of Flight. I was treating the red notes as yellow notes, so I'd be off a bit. I foxed this, and my rank went way up. I also made my character the happiest she could be. About four finger, it really is hard for me. I get in the red for freakin' zombie room! I must say, my index fingers are quite fast; lets say I'm doing runny morning. When SGX throws out those sixteenths followed by jumps, my fingers sorta slide along the arrow keys to the next jump. This actually works pretty well. I'll keep trying four finger however.

RunnyMorning is a pain in the ass. There really is no tips for runnymorning except hope to god you get the jacks. Closest I've come to FC'ing is 1 miss. And there's still people above me on the high scores list. No FC yet though. I'm still trying every now and then though.

Also, just keep practising and try to keep improving your speed with fast songs, because if you can practice on faster songs (like CIA rave) then go back to other songs, you suddenly find them seeming slower and thus easier to read the arrows, once you can read what's coming up it's just a matter of letting your fingers do the work.

very true, try playing molto vivance 10 times right in a row 3 times out of the week....your fingers start getting really strong and move faster and other songs seem easier. I work out quite a bit and ffr is the only thing that increases my finger strength dramatically.

Yes, working on your speed by practicing on fast songs will help in all aspects of FFR. Just a quick hint, do NOT TRY to mash through Molto Vivace, except for the gay trills (RLRLRL RDRDRD etc), treat those as jumps because you're not going to be able to get them either way. Except for that, none of the song is exactly BS. That slew of arrows that ends in jumps (The fast 32nds [I think that's what they are]) are easily doable once you get quick, and in between those and at the end it's just all straight jump sequences. Enjoy.
