Yes you can, doesn't it give you like -350 points whenever you hit arrows at the beginning of a song. You'll get Boos and fail.

It'll go faster if you just let a bunch of arrows go by, misses take off way more than boos (misses = -330, boo = -20)

yeah... when i got my first billion... i used the boo system and misses to my advantage... and lost points so i had EXACTLY one billion for a while...
