    Firefox

Sorry don't know if this is the right forum area, but anyways...

I use Firefox for my browser and found out something wierd with the simfile database. I can use it just fine except when the file in question is a .rar and not a zip. If i try to download a .rar ut looks like my browser actually tries to read it a la notepad, freezes and crashes. Since the link to the file goes to an html page and not the file itself, I can't right click to download. Anyone have any ideas on this?

    RE: Firefox

I was always able to right click and save as, but I guess in this case you can't. This happens to me when I try to open weird formats of movies(not WMV, AVI, MPG, etc., the rare ones).

Zuke: You can right click and save as, but when it asks you to name the file, give it a file name with the extention .rar, and it will download it as a rar, and not html.

        RE: Firefox

Tried renaming the file extension, still doesnt happen. I can right click and save in IE just fine, but can't right click for rars or zips in Firefox due to the browser recognizing the target as the php page and not the file. Not a reall big deal, I'll just have to remember to browse the database with IE I suppose *shrug* I don't suppose anyone else has had the problem with Firefox?
