    Perfects too easy

    Not that I've tried out the new FFR version .64... however, I've heard that the new one is too easy to get perfects in. My friend who is pretty bad told me (I haven't tried it out yet) that he got over 90 percent perfects on his first time playing (forgot the name, something Life --> a new one). Some of the better people will obviously get all perfects...

    Actually I think the perfects are almost correct. It feels more like SM in the comparisons, which is pretty popular.

    Perfect = Marvelous/perfect
    Good = Great

        I totally agree. Perfects in this game are what you expect them to be, with the previous versions it was -too- hard to get all perfects on songs, as the tiniest of tiny fraction-second delays caused by your computer, or the song being that 1/100th second out of sync, caused you to miss that perfect.

        I distinctly remember turning the sound off once in the previous version for a better attempt to get more perfects, which is entirely -not- what music games should be about.

        All in all, the new system is the greatest!

          The perfect is awesome the way it is. its a PERFECT hit. not this impossible like hit like it was before. Its possible to AAA songs on SM o_O i don't see why ffr should be any different.

            Below is my rulebook for the credit system. I may be modifying this today. A good measure measure of performance is to look at what the unregistered players are getting and because all unregistered players play under the same name, it is a good judgement of how balanced the system is. Currently, unregistered players have a total of -3,116,160 credits.

            Gaining credits:
            Clearing a song - +1 credit
            Clearing a song with a full meter - +1 credit
            Full comboing a song - +2 credits
            All perfects and goods in a song - +3 credits
            All perfects in a song - +10 credits
            Final Score 300,000-499,999 - + 1 credit
            Final Score 500,000-699,999 - +2 credits
            Final Score 700,000+ - +3 credits

            Losing credits:
            Failing a song - -3 credits
            Clearing a song with less than 25% meter - -1 credit
            20-49 total misses at end of song - -1 credits
            50+ misses at end of song - -2 credits

            Cheers,

            Synthlight

              So looking at that chart above you could get (for failing a song) -3 - -1 - -1 - -2 = -7 if you fail a really hard song.

              On the other end of the spectrum if you had a 700,00+ song you could earn 3 + 10 + 3 +2 +1 +1 = 20 credits earned.

              cheers,

              Synthlight

                Synthlight, we now need a system where you can just see the high scores for a song if need be. I found out how to lose 7 credits quickly the hard way when I wanted to see if I was still up in the top ten for Story of Snowman and Sunshine Girl earlier today.
