My dad is making me learn it. But I don't really like programming.

I am looking at actionscript, if I learn it and ffr is still here I would like to help develop. But vB is in my syllabus for A Level ICT and I wanna be a games designer/coder anyway so that is priority now, the hybrid sony language, ansd gamecube language is very similar to vB.. and Obviously XBox is almost completely vb.

I really don't see any reason at all why people choose to learn vB over c++. I mean FFS you can't beat developing under OpenGL in c++.

Well, my school offers vB classes, and you need 10 credits in computer science to graduate anyways. So I'm taking that next year. I would have to learn C++ on my own, and that's something I really dont want to do.

speaking of programming... I'm a freshman in the CS department in college. I absolutely love FFR and if there's anything C++ oriented that I can help with concerning FFR, let me know. I'll keep ya posted as I learn more languages/features.
