Ok, I play with one hand (my right) and my forefinger is on the left key, my ring finger is on the right key, and I use my middle finger for the up and down arrows. When I play fast songs, especially those that have fast up and down sequences, it's impossible to play them that fast. What fingers (positions) do you all use?

Fast up downs with the middle finger can be done (That sounds a bit odd
) you kind of slide it instead of tapping each, but it takes practice.
I use two hands.
Left middle: Left
Left index: Down
Right middle: Up
Right ring: Right -
no two hands. boo
i play the same way you do. however... during really fast songs i use my index for the down arrow when it goes between up and down very quickly. try that out. its just like doin spins with DDR... well, kindof.

left left third right middle inbetween two, i shift round my hand whenever necessary, ie I JUMP from the normal position, so for the up down combos it is left on down and middle on up. Etc, its just natural progression, and think about how u play DDR for real, its just how it should be...
