    FFR Noteskins

Not sure if this should belong here, but I couldn't think of a better place to put it, so here goes:

As everyone has noticed, Balloon Fever is the only song that contains 32nd note noteskins (and they are ALL pink at that point, for some reason that I can't figure out). I'm not sure that those could really be counted as 32nds because the beats then don't make sense... but anyway. Is it possible to use 32nds in the dwi like it is to do 12ths (and 24ths)? Like, could you have a pink and then regular-colour arrows? Or, does this mean you just have to deal with double BPMs?

    Thanks.

I think it's best not to care. I'm not sure if the FFR engine colors the notes, I think it may actually need to be colored in the simfile. I think that's why they have songs where all the notes turn red, or pink, or some that still have all notes blue. Not sure though.

Unfortunately, it would seem that you do not know what you are talking about. LD uses some .dwi converter and people submit their .dwis to be used in FFR (if they are good enough, of course) and since it takes him only about an hour (syncing and whatnot) to make it ready for uploading, he is definitely (alright, probably) not colouring each arrow. Plus, if he's taking it straight from a .dwi, it would be done already for him.

As for not caring, it's called simple aesthetics. If it were possible to have 32nd noteskins it would be nice, because it would be a splash of a little-seen colour in FFR (as I said, the only other song is Balloon Fever). Plus, it is very annoying for any stepfile writer to have to double or triple the BPMs to accomodate noteskins or especially triplets.

      Kthx.
