i cant beat secret zombie room. i've been practicing it 4 a while and im gradually getting better,but its not fast enough! i need a better way of practicing. HOW CAN I GET GOOD FAST????!!!!

well unless you already have past experiences with ddr.... i got from easy to very difficult in one day if that counts for anything

practice makes perfect, start out with standard songs like zelda and gradually work your way up... a good song to practice on is alpha helix

No just kidding. Try playing with two hands and download stepmania (www.stepmania.com). Try working with faster speed mods on stepmania and ugh...just practice. That's all you can do.

Playing with 4 fingers is a bit easier than playing with 2 for a beginner. I've played over 4000 games and index is still far beyond me.

Guys. Playing style is all a matter of opinion. Some people's brains when they first start make sense of 4 finger play, so that's what they do. Others see this game and make a connection with DDR, so they can understand how to work index better than other play styles. Still others see this game, don't know what to do, and lay their hands on the arrow keys as one would for any other game.

All you can really do to get better is practice. Play songs that are just beyond your ability to do well on them. And as flypie said, get Stepmania. It helps a LOT.

you want to get better fast...no easy way to do it save a crap ton of practice, i found that blank knowing and breaking the common were good to play to get better, then step it up to x dreamer, and halogen...at least thats what i did

Actually, yes you are. You haven't been here that long, which means you're a newb in general to FFR. You said you can "beat" zelda, when just about everyone can FC Zelda, which means that you're a newb to the game of FFR. Also, you only have a few posts and your spelling and grammar is terrible, which means that you're a newb to the forums.

Just play more, and if you plan on posting frequently, use correct language skills. Also, I didn't mean any offense by saying you're a newb. It's just that you are new, so it's true.
