programming FFR songs

what goes into making the songs for FFR?

is it something that the everyday person with a dessktop can do?

i like FFR now but im running out of songs plus i would like to try to program some of the songs...

is it as easy at listening to the songs and hitting the arrow keys to program one of these songs then letting the computer adjust for timeing?

I wish it was that easy. There is a FAQ and a thread called something like "Everything you need to know about DWI files". It tells you how to make songs for FFR.

ok now im stuck on something simple

i cant figure out how to make a new folder in WinAce

the top bar says the following
"WinAce Archiver v2.6b5 (beta test)"

i must be running a newer version than the one mentioned above

If FFR is based on DWI files, then how did the steps for Balloon Fever end up so, well, balloon fever?
