    Coloring

Unforutently I was born with a disability - I am color blind, and I am finaly getting somewhat good at this game "Tricky songs" and quite a few of them have colored arrows. Well - with that, they blend in with the backround extrodinarily well making them hard - to inpposible to see.

Now I don't wish for any exceptions in the game - I want you to leave it as is, but if you have the game in black and white - or all in one color arrow, that would be great.

It's a great game of skill and I hope it travels far into the future.

    Thank you,
    -Alan

    RE: Coloring

Nearly all of the old songs are single colored. If the new songs are that much trouble, I'd suggest fiddling with your brightness/contrast. Other than that all there is to do is wait for noteskins to be implemented.

      RE: Coloring

      Allrighty - thanks.

But when I turn my moniter into my "Black and White" mode - It makes it where the arrows still fade into the backround where they are unseeable.

      : / Sorry for causing such a fuss - I probaly shouldn't have poster.

        RE: Coloring

Maybe we could call in synth and have him make a quick safe-mode kinda version. I think I'td be awesome. I have a slight color blindness in some songs as well. Not too much of a color blindess, just enough to make it a disability.

          RE: Coloring

Yellow and Red/Pink are completly gone for me. Blue on Black I can see slighly but highly discolored.

I can see green, purple, and a few other dark colors.

          Light colors fade to grey.

Light arrow on Light backround = Me screwed.

Also, Dark arrow on Light backround = Me screwed. : P

          Heh.

Well if nothing else you can be happy that a lot of songs have solid black backrounds, most people see that as a bad thing but its a plus for you ~.^ Lol. That really sucks though, considering a good amount of songs have a red/blue/yellow scheme (well and more but thats 1/4th 1/8th 1/16th notes and the rest are a lot less common) and almost all of the new songs that are being released (if not all of them) will have this layout. Well good luck, hopefully something can be done to help you out and if nothing else maybe try StepMania... you could maybe find a noteskin that always works for you on it.
